Update to Safe Snack Guide: January 31, 2013

-

Cupid’s bow is ready and we’ve made sure his arrows are peanut, tree nut and egg-free!

With Valentine’s day approaching fast, we’ve added a special holiday section to the Safe Snack Guide so that your food allergic loved ones can feel special too. All the Valentine’s treats are certified by their respective manufacturers as free of these allergens and they are a good way of keeping them out of the classroom to avoid contact reactions and accidental ingestion.

  1. Have you considered adding DAIRY-free to your safe snack guide list? As my son can’t have dairy or egg. I’ve found that often times, these go hand in hand, or that dairy alone is just as prevalent as egg or peanut.

  2. Thank you so much for including us at Amanda’s Own Confections in your safe snacks guide, we really appreciate it. It’s a great resource for families that deal with food allergies. As a mom of a child with food allergies, I understand how critical it is to have safe foods for my daughter! Thanks again and keep up the great work!

  3. Waiting to see the update for Easter candy before I start shopping for our baskets! Thank you so much for your service. It makes it so easy for me to shop and helps Grammi (who buys most – too much! -of the candy) keep our child safe.
