Let’s Get Epinephrine Stocked in ALL New Jersey Schools!

BACKGROUND

Assembly Bill 304 will require schools in New Jersey to maintain a supply of undesignated epinephrine auto-injectors for use in emergencies. If a student experiences a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis), schools would be prepared to treat the reaction with life-saving medication. Because the prevalence of allergies and anaphylaxis among children is increasing, it is crucial that schools are well-prepared to administer the proper treatment necessary to save a student’s life.

We need to get as many of us as possible to urge legislators to support this bill TODAY.

Tell our New Jersey legislators that A304 is an important bill because it will save lives, and for that reason it must move forward! 1. An emergency epi-pen could save lives. Some kids don’t even know try have a life threatening allergy and immediate action is required. Waiting for an ambulance could be too late.
