Updates to Our Allergy-Friendly Guides Just in Time for Back-to-School!

-

Just in time for back-to-school, we’re pleased to announce updates to our allergy-friendly resources! Whether you have a child with food allergies, need to comply with classroom allergen restrictions, or you are just looking for allergy-friendly products for yourself or your family, we’ve got you covered.

We offer two resources that thousands of schools and tens of thousands of families like yours have relied on for more than a decade to keep allergens out of the classroom and the home: our family of Safe Snack Guides and our interactive Allergence product screening service.

The Safe Snack Guides are actually safe food guides that come in four standard editions — Peanut & Tree Nut FreeMilk (Dairy) FreeSesame Free and Gluten Free — as well as over 8,600 Custom Editions tailored to specific restrictions to 11 allergens by our readers.

Allergence allows you to set profiles for each family member with restrictions to the FDA Top 9 — peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, soy, wheat, fish, crustacean shellfish, and sesame — as well as mustard and gluten. You can then surf our database of over 3,000 products by category or manufacturer to find just what you’re looking for.

Most importantly, we NEVER rely on the label to determine whether a product is truly allergy-friendly. We work closely with over 200 partner manufacturers who use our proprietary platform to disclose precisely how the 11 allergens we track are processed during manufacture, including shared line/facility information not required by the FDA and not available anywhere else.

We’ve just updated these resources with tons of products from our existing members as well as new members of our Manufacturer Partnership.
