Well you just lost EVERY customer who has a “peanut allergy”. Way to go Keebler! Why did you do it?
We have a Grandson that is deathly allergic to peanuts and most tree nuts,no more Keebler products in our house, ever!
Shame on you Keebler /Kelloggs. What an irresponsible thing to do..add the #1 deadliest allergen to foods that children eat and carry in backpacks, bring to sporting events etc. Your crackers and products are everywhere…it’s easy to identify peanut butter crackers as dangerous…but cheese crackerst made with peanut flour.,this increases the chances of children and adults dying because of cross contamination contact…schools will hopefully ban your products. ..HOW DO YOU JUSTIFY KILLING PEOPLE?
OMG – I just sent my two peanut allergenic kids to school with a pack of these crackers. Just ran to the pantry to check the label…luckily they are the old variety. I don’t read the label every single time I buy something that I always buy. Shame on you Keebler. Won’t be buying your products again.
I am so disappointed to read this. As a mother of a child with a life threatening peanut allergy, I can’t believe that any company would intentionally add peanut flour to otherwise non-peanut containing foods. This will only increase confusion for children and caregivers, while the incidence of life threatening reactions or death due to food allergies will likely skyrocket. As if it was not already difficult enough to monitor everything that our children are exposed to. I will be sure to avoid ALL Keebler products, with our without peanut flour and I will encourage my family and caregivers to do the same. I hope you are proud for adding unnecessary anxiety to a public health problem that is already difficult to manage.
I bought the crackers…..my son who is Ana to peanuts told ME they had peanut Ingredients. I was stunned!!!!! No idea why they would do this! Very disappointing for the “can’t eat peanuts’ people
What happened to austin combo cheese /wheat crackerwith cheese in the middle? it was a square cheese cracker on the bottom, cheese spread in the middle and round wheat crackert on the top..I thought it was called combo cheese crackers.Maybe I ate them all up when I was younger…
