Kids with Food Allergies Foundation (KFA), a wonderful organization that educates families and communities with practical food allergy management strategies, has published a guide entitled “Potential Food allergens in Preschool and School Activities”.
The guide provides a set of common circumstances where food allergens may be encountered in a school setting, along with safer alternatives that can be substituted as well as precautions that can be implemented to minimize the opportunity for exposure.
