Please note that we have removed a number of products from the Safe Snack Guide:
- Shoprite ABC Cookie Squares – removed due to changes in manufacture/labeling/disclosure.
- Righteously Raw Products – removed due to change in disclosure: manufactured on lines where coconut is also processed.
A note about coconut: Though the FDA considers coconut a tree nut under FALCPA regulations, it is actually a fruit of the palm tree, not a nut in the botanical sense. According to the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI), most people with an allergy to tree nuts can safely consume coconut, though you should discuss this with your allergist before trying.
