We’re pleased to announce the Easter 2017 Edition of the Safe Snack Guide – our catalog of peanut, tree nut, and Top-8 free foods – perfect for parties and classroom celebrations where these allergens are excluded.
The Easter Edition has an entire section devoted to Easter-themed treats, all of which are made in peanut and tree nut-free facilities, many of which are free of other allergens as well.
Need peanut-safe chocolate bunnies? Listed! Need jelly beans to line that basket for a certain someone with nut allergies? Check. Looking for egg-free products you can find at your local supermarket? They’re here! Along with our usual lineup of allergy-friendly products, many of which are also appropriate for the holiday.
We’re also pleased to introduce you to three new members of our Manufacturer Partnership:
- Sneaky Chef No-Nut Butters are delicious peanut-butter alternatives made from naturally sweet and “nutty” tasting golden peas, but without a trace of peanuts, tree nuts, seeds, or soy. Sneaky Chef products are available online and in retail locations across the country.
- Wild Zora makes and sells safe, nutritious, great-tasting meat & veggie snacks made only with mindfully sourced REAL FOOD. Their facilities are completely free from wheat, gluten, grain, soy, nuts, peanuts, tree-nuts, peanuts, eggs, fish, shellfish, MSG, and any chemical additives.
- Kiss Freely, where a desire for food allergy friendly bath and body products has led to the creation of a line of personal care products geared towards those with food allergies and their loved ones.
To accommodate new products, we’ve added two new categories: Meat Snacks & Jerky, and Skin Care & Cosmetics (our first non-food category!)
On a side note: Our apologies to those of you celebrating Passover: we were unable to find suitable products that are kosher for the holiday. Please tell us of your finds!
