The parents of Natalie Giorgi – the young girl who recently succumbed to anaphylaxis after accidentally biting into a treat containing peanut butter – have established a foundation in her memory.
As stated on their website, the Natalie Giorgi Sunshine Foundation will “reduce dangerous food allergy deaths by spreading public awareness, provide education regarding emergency responses, and increase the availability of epinephrine injectors in public places.”
