Yesterday was the first day of FARE’s Contains: Courage® Research Retreat, a two-day symposium bringing together the world’s leading researchers and authorities in the field of food allergy.

Keynote speaker Dr Kari Nadeau, Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics and Director of the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford University, offered a 40-minute presentation entitled: “What we know about possible causes and cures for Food Allergy”. The webinar provides a whirlwind tour of what’s known about food allergy today including the best means of prevention and current therapies as well as state-of-the-art research into understanding the disease with an eye toward future therapies and a cure.
