Must See: FARE's 'Food for Thought: Media Misrepresentation' Video

-

In case you missed it, Food Allergy Research and Education’s (FARE’s) 2½ minute video entitled Food for Thought: Media Misrepresentation is a must see.

FARE lays bare the entertainment media’s penchant for treating life-threatening food allergies as a light-hearted topic to be joked about with examples from sitcoms and late night variety shows. The video also illustrates how the news media readily hypes food allergy deaths while providing little in the way of instruction as to how these tragedies can be prevented.

Take a few minutes to view the video now:

Be sure to share FARE’s video with family, friends, and your child’s school administration to help them understand that food allergies are life-threatening and must be treated with the care and vigilance they demand.
