Safe Snack Guide: Holiday 2015 Edition

We’re happy to announce the 2015 Holiday Edition of the Safe Snack Guide, our catalog of peanut, tree nut and egg-free goodies used by thousands of schools and tens of thousands of parents nationwide to help keep these allergens out of the classroom and the home.

This edition features an entire section devoted exclusively to holiday themed items for your Chanukkah, Christmas and New Year’s celebrations! Many are available at your local supermarket or can be ordered online.

School nurses, teachers and PTA organizations refer parents to the Guide to help them select items that are suitable for classrooms designated peanut and tree nut-free, thus making snack time and party preparation significantly easier. Camps, youth sports leagues, and scouting groups rely on the Guide as well.

RIV Logo 73x73We are also taking this occasion to welcome a new member to our Manufacturer Partnership: Riverside Natural Foods, manufacturers of the MadeGood™ brand of granola bars. The MadeGood line is free of the top 8 allergens as well as sesame and mustard and is certified organic, kosher parve, non-GMO and gluten-free. Each bar contains the equivalent of one vegetable serving, but don’t tell your kids… they only need to know that they’re delicious! MadeGood bars are now listed in the Guide as well Allergence, our free, interactive allergen screening service.
