With a bit of black magic and a sprinkling of (allergy-friendly) eye of newt, we’ve conjured up the Halloween 2017 Edition of the Safe Snack Guide, our catalog of snacks free of peanuts and tree nuts with many free of the Top 8 allergens. The Guide is used by thousands of schools and hundreds of thousands of parents nationwide to help keep these allergens out of the classroom and the home.
As we do every year, we’ve dedicated a whole section to Halloween-themed and bulk-packaged candies and chocolates, just in time for trick-or-treat and allergy-friendly celebrations at home and school. This year we’ve included a selection of Top 8 allergen-free treats as well as a few non-food treat ideas. With each listing we provide size/packaging information and indicate whether the items are individually wrapped.
